A recognition that highlights their work on human-robot collaboration, at the intersection of virtual reality and shared control, technologies at the heart of tomorrow&#8217;s industrial challenges.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"salento\" class=\"wp-block-group section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wrapper__inner is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title--2 is-style-title-cesi-underline\"><span><strong>Awarded at XR Salento 2026<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The scientific paper \u201c<em>Toward Seamless Human-Robot Collaboration: VR-Enhanced Teleoperation with Transparent Shared Control<\/em>\u201d co-authored by <strong>Majd Karoui<\/strong>, <strong>C\u00e9lestin Preault<\/strong>, <strong>Vincent Havard<\/strong>, and <strong>David Baudry<\/strong> as part of the FUSION collaborative project, received the Best Poster Award at the international conference <strong>XR Salento 2026<\/strong>, dedicated to advances in extended reality (XR) and artificial intelligence. Held annually in Otranto, Italy, this conference brings together researchers and experts from around the world to discuss immersive technologies and their applications.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"vr\" class=\"wp-block-group section has-grey-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wrapper__inner is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title--2 is-style-title-cesi-underline\"><span><strong>Recognition for VR-based teleoperation<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This award recognizes the team\u2019s work, which focuses on improving human-robot collaboration through virtual reality teleoperation and transparent shared control mechanisms. This work is fully aligned with Majd Karoui\u2019s doctoral thesis, \u201c<em>Study of XR Interfaces and Human-Robot Interactions Coupled with Digital Twins<\/em>\u201d conducted at <strong>CESI LINEACT<\/strong>. The FUSION project is part funded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bpifrance.fr\/nous-decouvrir\/nos-partnaires\/france-2030\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bpifrance<\/a> within the frame of the <a href=\"https:\/\/innov-avenir.normandie.fr\/projets-d-avenir-i-demo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">France 2030 I-D\u00e9mo programme in
