Examples of these jobs considered in the project are: jobs related to BIM or to Energy Efficiency for the construction sector; jobs needed by the Industry 4.0 (PLM, manufacturing and maintenance in the digital factory, additive manufacturing\u2026); or jobs applying Data Science and AI in these sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project develops an industrial research aiming at <strong>producing knowledge on these jobs and on the tools used<\/strong>, but also at <strong>creating new knowledge around the tools used<\/strong>. This knowledge is then used to create new instrumented-learning-situations allowing to acquire the competencies required by these jobs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Efficiency of the instrumented-learning-situations is also a research object of the project. Thus, the design of the new courses is doubly fed by the results of research: case studies, projects, learning situations\u2026 are designed in order to embed specific research results, and research works in educational sciences (observations, interviews, measures of learning efficiency\u2026) enhance their learning efficiency.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/lineact.cesi.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Logo-GPI.jpg\" alt=\"investir l'avenir\" class=\"wp-image-11962\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<span class=\"wp-block-cesi-separateur separator _blank\"><\/span>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Main results<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to its scale, this project has produced many results, which are presented here in a synthetic way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"studies\" class=\"wp-block-group section has-grey-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wrapper__inner is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title--2 is-style-title-cesi-underline\"><span>APEC studies<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>APEC has produced many studies on jobs of the future and their related competencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2017: BIM, Additive Manufacturing, PLM, Internet of Things, Big Data, Energy Efficiency, a study showing the importance of soft skills, and a synthesis of the main trends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2018: Industrial Cybersecurity, Cobotics, Virtual Reality \/ Augmented Reality, Smart Buildings, Digital Simulation, Artificial Intelligence, a survey on the digital transformation seen by companies executives, and a synthesis of the main trends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2019: A detailed study of 12 emerging jobs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These studies are accessible on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/corporate.apec.fr\/toutes-nos-etudes?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">APEC&nbsp;website<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"thesis\" class=\"wp-block-group section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wrapper__inner is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title--2 is-style-title-cesi-underline\"><span>PhD Thesis<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The project initiated two PhD thesis, one on <strong>predictive maintenance in Manufacturing 4.0<\/strong> (Rouen), the other on <strong>energy piloting in smart buildings<\/strong> (Nanterre).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The onsite platforms are the basis of these works.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"research\" class=\"wp-block-group section has-grey-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wrapper__inner is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title--2 is-style-title-cesi-underline\"><span>Research on instrumented-learning-situations<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A first work is on learning in a FabLab; a second is on learning situations using Virtual Reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lockdown situation in 2020 aroused a third axe, around the new distance settings of all CESI courses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"curricula\" class=\"wp-block-group section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wrapper__inner is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title--2 is-style-title-cesi-underline\"><span>Curricula review<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In all, the project reviewed <strong>31 curricula<\/strong> leading to a certification. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among these :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The different streams in Engineering were aligned on a 5-year curriculum, and many options for the 5<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;year were designed. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All the \u201cMast\u00e8res Sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s\u201d were redesigned and aligned on a 3\u00d74-month modular curriculum. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All curricula in the field of Industry integrate the Industry 4.0 dimension; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All curricula in the field of construction integrate BIM awareness; <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All curricula in computer sciences integrate data processing awareness. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A Data Analyst curriculum has also been created.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/openclassrooms.com\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Open Classroom<\/a>; virtual reality applications, simulation cases studies\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"certifications\" class=\"wp-block-group section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wrapper__inner is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title--2 is-style-title-cesi-underline\"><span>Certifications<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A 3-levels certification has been created to certify BIM competencies, and is operational.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"investissements\" class=\"wp-block-group section has-grey-background-color has-background is-style-title-cesi-underline\"><span>Investissements<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nanterre Smart Building Demonstrator was completed in March 2017, and inaugurated in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure and extended in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All Lab\u2019CESI acquired the equipment necessary to implement the new training modules (virtual reality headsets, prototyping machines such as 3D printers and
