In order to give meaning to learning, the objects which are studied are themselves objects that contribute to solve main contemporary issues such as renewable energies, non-polluting transport systems, etc. The issues raised around these objects can be addressed at different level, from secondary education to higher education, including professional and technical education. This is possible because companies associated to the project provided the complex digital models used in learning situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons list-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button button button--primary button--shadow-random\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/vST3l6jXZ7w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Video&#8217;s project<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button button button--primary button--shadow-random\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"http:\/\/projet-east.blogspot.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Blog&#8217;s project<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"results\" class=\"wp-block-group section has-grey-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wrapper__inner is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title--2 is-style-title-cesi-underline\"><span>Main results<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group editorial__picture editorial__aside is-style-editorial-aside-big editorial__aside--picture is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"312\" data-id=\"11859\" src=\"https:\/\/lineact.cesi.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Les_4_simulateurs_EAST-500x312.jpg\" alt=\"east project\" class=\"wp-image-11859\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lineact.cesi.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Les_4_simulateurs_EAST-500x312.jpg 500w, https:\/\/lineact.cesi.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Les_4_simulateurs_EAST-360x225.jpg 360w, https:\/\/lineact.cesi.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Les_4_simulateurs_EAST-448x279.jpg 448w, https:\/\/lineact.cesi.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Les_4_simulateurs_EAST-736x459.jpg 736w, https:\/\/lineact.cesi.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Les_4_simulateurs_EAST.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The project demonstrated that producing attractive 3D learning environments from companies digital assets (3D model of the GE 1.5 MW wind turbine ; plans of the Thermulis thermal power station ; and their technical specifications) was feasible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It has also demonstrated that considering pedagogical scenarios as external and modifiable data that are represented as UML diagrams, was also feasible when they are implemented as a library of primitives in a relevant programming environment (in this project, UNITY).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, it has also demonstrated the diversity of possible usages of these simulators, for public of different levels, when they can access machines with appropriate configurations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Near 3&nbsp;200 learners, from Secondary School (Year 10) to the 4<sup>th<\/sup> year in Higher Education, tutored by more than sixty teachers, have experimented the simulator of the wind turbine, with a dozen of different pedagogical scenarios adapted to the different levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4 demonstrators were developed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>GE 1,5 MW wind turbine simulator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learning security procedures to move inside the wind turbine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learning a preventive maintenance procedure in the wind turbine (control of the gear box)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Simulator of a thermal power station with cogeneration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"publications\" class=\"wp-block-group section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wrapper__inner is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title--2 is-style-title-cesi-underline\"><span>Publications<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>BLANDIN, B.
