Since its beginning, CESI\u2019s core activity is a service that can be summarized by the formula \u201cwe support the building of your professional identity\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">To provide this service, and the professionalization of the teachers and trainers who deliver this service, it is necessary to better understand this activity of support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">It is the aim of the research works done in this project.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"presentation\" class=\"wp-block-group section is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wrapper__inner is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title--2 is-style-title-cesi-underline\"><span>Presentation<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A first work, based on a literature review and some interviews inside CESI has shown that the \u201ccoaching interview\u201d is not much studied, though it is the core of the approach. This is the reason why the following works of the project have focused on this object, resulting in a PhD thesis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The theoretical framework of this thesis is built upon professional didactics and the mastery of dynamic situations. The collection and the analysis of data was organised around \u201cself-debrief interviews\u201d in which the teachers \/ trainers identified the specific skills required by the \u201ccoaching interview\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"results\" class=\"wp-block-group section has-grey-background-color has-background is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group wrapper__inner is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading title--2 is-style-title-cesi-underline\"><span>Main results<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The thesis shows that to conduct a \u201ccoaching interview\u201d can be understood as the mastery, by the coach, of the conduct of the interview as a dynamic situation. This situation can be considered as aiming to support the student\u2019s mastery of dynamic situations related to his\/her project (including those linked to his professional objectives). Conducting the observed interviews can be described as a set of five sub-activities: introduction, diagnostic, invitation to adapt, monitoring and conclusion. It is organised around two major concepts: the coherence and the adaptation.
