This project aims to develop an advanced robotic system for inspecting sewerage networks, with the objective of limiting water losses due to aging infrastructure and avoiding human intervention in complex and difficult-to-access environments. With a total budget of \u20ac4.5 million, REISAR has received \u20ac1.157 million in funding for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cesi.fr\/\">CESI<\/a><\/strong>, which is working on location, autonomous navigation, environmental understanding, and human-machine interface. The project is coordinated by Vincent Vauchey (CESI LINEACT) and is supported by a strong consortium of three industrial partners: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/conscience-robotics.com\/fr_fr\/\">Conscience Robotics<\/a><\/strong>, a Normandy-based company specializing in human-machine interfaces; <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pilgrim-technology.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PILGRIM-TECHNOLOGY<\/a><\/strong>, a robot manufacturer with which CESI is conducting a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lineact.cesi.fr\/projets\/these-cifre-chalons-agglo\/\">CIFRE<\/a><\/strong> thesis; and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.traak.tech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TRAAK<\/a><\/strong>, a company based in Montpellier and Paris, which provides an innovative radio localization solution for underground environments.
