These two types of environments share many similarities, one of the main ones being the lack of annotated data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Achievements as of January 13, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Participation in the COHOMA III Challenge to develop the AI building block for target detection using mixed datasets<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continued scientific work by comparing different dataset creation strategies and evaluating their performance on the YOLOv11 deep learning detection model:<ul><li><strong>Mixed:<\/strong> limited quantities of real data + synthetic data generated from the Digital Twin (DT)<\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong>Augmented:<\/strong> limited quantities of real data + augmented synthetic images (real images + CAD object models). Use of Glomap \u2013 SfM to extract scene planes from point clouds<\/li><\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Randomized:<\/strong> limited quantities of real data + augmented synthetic images applying randomization techniques (texture variations, lighting, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Currently, the focus is on industrial objects, leveraging those available in the flexible production workshop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Perspectives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reproduce the same scientific approach for the <em>Defense<\/em> context: analyze whether the trends observed in industrial object recognition are also valid in military outdoor environments, for other object categories and for people<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluate additional detection models: RF-DETR (Roboflow), Fast R-CNN, lightweight models, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The DRINEA \u2013 DEVEX project develops AI solutions for vehicle and human detection in complex outdoor environments, combining real data and digital twins to enhance human\u2013machine collaboration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":197414,"menu_order":0,"template":"","categories":[528],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-197383","projets","type-projets","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-en"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 -
