One of CESI LINEACT’s raisons d’être is to disseminate scientific knowledge for training purposes
Dissemination of scientific knowledge: the mission of CESI LINEACT
So it’s only natural that the unit has set up a proactive policy for sharing its knowledge with the general public on a national scale. CESI LINEACT has more than 90 actions to disseminate scientific, technical and industrial culture over the period 2017-2022, with actions of different natures.
These actions can take the form of participation in science festivals organized near its sites, round tables in various fields including additive manufacturing, innovation management, virtual reality or Deep Learning, dissemination of its activities in the media, intervention in social debates.
Open science, a culture of unity
CESI LINEACT is currently encouraging its members to apply the open science logic of the research code to its scientific publications and associated research data, and adheres to the vision of the San Franscico declaration, known as Dora.
A close prospect is to establish its own open science roadmap in line with CESI’s research, training and commercialization activities by the end of 2025, with the aim of making 100% of its publications open access by 2030.
