    The Engineering and Digital Tools research team develops its research in the fields of modeling, simulation, optimization and control of complex components, systems and processes, and human-system interactions in cyber-physical systems. These research themes, identified on the basis of industrial and societal needs, are in line with the application areas targeted by CESI LINEACT, namely Industry 5.0, Construction 4.0 and Sustainable Cities, and Digital Services.

  • Technological platforms

    CESI LINEACT has state-of-the-art platforms and equipment, as well as a technical team of research engineers and a competent administrative unit to manage them.

  • Research organization

    CESI’s national Research and Innovation department is based in Paris and headed by the director of CESI LINEACT ; it is responsible for organising the research in its 6 regions, in line with national strategy.
