Research organization
CESI’s national Research and Innovation department is based in Paris and headed by the director of CESI LINEACT ; it is responsible for organising the research in its 6 regions, in line with national strategy.
The national directorate of research and innovation
The Heads of Research and Innovation Departments (RDRI) in each of CESI’s 6 regions take part in national coordination bodies and ensure that the various actions are passed on to the regional teams. These RDRIs all have experience of research and corporate partnerships, giving them a thorough grasp of both environments. An administrative unit responsible for developing the financial and management aspects of research completes the system, in liaison with CESI’s finance department.
Monthly meetings between the RDRI and the national research department to coordinate local and (inter)national research activities.
Annually, the RDRI and teacher-researchers from all CESI campuses meet for a 2-day seminar, which enables more targeted exchanges between ECs, contributes to the group’s scientific and human cohesion, and enables them to collectively grasp the values and future of CESI LINEACT.
Team and thematic meetings are also held several times a year.
For reasons of thematic focus, site logic and complementarity, CESI’s research activity is not limited to CESI LINEACT’s research professors. This research is also carried out by CESI teacher-researchers within recognized research units attached to other higher education and research structures.
