In the context of optimizing logistical operations in the oil industry, effective scheduling is critical for enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. This paper aims to address this challenge by developing a scheduling web application specifically designed for multi-product pipeline transportation systems. The primary objective of this application is to generate a detailed schedule plan that minimizes interface volumes for a straight multi-product pipeline connecting a refinery to multiple storage and distribution centers. The application enables oil company managers to easily access essential information, including pumping and reception sequences, pipeline status updates, and stock levels at various centers. Additionally, it provides the capability to determine the security stock levels required to fulfill client orders in cases where delivery delays occur. To achieve these goals, a genetic algorithm is employed to develop an optimal scheduling plan, offering a practical solution to streamline operations in complex pipeline networks.
