The digital transformation of industry is an essential pillar of the global economy, aimed at improving productivity, promoting sustainable development and optimizing industrial performance. It relies on the use of advanced technologies such as cyber-physical systems, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, which make industrial systems not only more complex, but also more communicative, precise and adapted to users’ needs. At the same time, the introduction of digital twins – real-time virtual replicas of industrial equipment and processes – represents a major step forward in this transformation. Digital twins enable precise modeling of the entire industrial system, making it possible to simulate scenarios and predict performance with great accuracy. They also provide a secure environment for testing new optimization and innovation strategies, while reducing the costs and risks associated with on-site testing. By combining real-time sensor data with advanced analytics capabilities, digital twins enable companies to make informed, proactive decisions to optimize operations, reduce downtime and improve overall profitability. In short, the use of digital twins represents a key element in successfully driving the digital transformation of industry, offering a holistic and proactive view of the entire industrial process. The aim of this work is to implement a Digital Twin solution, simple for users to implement in their system for real-time monitoring, which brings together Industry 4.0 tools.
